Background in leadership development (Education and/or Experience):

Over 25 years activity in America's cultural community. Created innovative community arts program for community development corporation that blended arts and economic development. Organized Greater Chicago Citizens for the Arts, that worked for candidates who supported the arts and freedom of expression. Founded Creative America Project to inspire and prepare creative professionals to run for local office - conducted workshops and training sessions.

Teach "The Artist as Activist," "How To Be a Cultural Activist," "Creative Tools for Social Change," "Nonprofits and Social Change," and "The Artist as Citizen" at Chicago universities.
