Kimberly Haskins Bio

Kimberly Haskins is a senior program officer at the Barr Foundation, a private foundation guided by a vision for a vibrant, just, and sustainable world with hopeful futures for children. Kim manages the foundation’s grant making in early education, which is focused on the goal of ensuring Boston's children enter school ready and are reading proficiently by third grade. She also manages the Barr Fellowship, an effort to celebrate and connect extraordinary nonprofit and public school leaders. Kim has been a senior director for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, where she managed a team of staff and volunteers responsible for the annual investment in community-based organizations, and an auditor for Bank of Boston (now Bank of America). Kim has an MBA and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from Boston University’s School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
